I regularly comment in the media, analysing the psychology behind news items or social trends. I also help production companies develop ideas for relationship programmes. Here's some of my recent work:

• over summer 2011 I was a resident expert on The Lovers' Guide, a 30-part series for Body in Balance Television.
• in late 2011 I've given interviews for, among others, Woman's Hour, Radio Five Live, Radio Scotland, BBC World Service, Sirius Radio USA.
• in 2011-12 I've commented for all British broadsheets and tabloids plus, among others, Time.com, The New York Daily, The Canberra Times.
• in 2005 my work was shortlisted for the Family Planning Association's annual Award for journalistic excellence. In 2006, I judged the Award.
