I'm a psychologist who loves to help people have the best relationships they possibly can. I offer email, phone and face-to-face coaching on relationship and sexual issues, and am also the advice columnist for Women's Health Concern. I'm the writer of 21 books on relationships published in 33 countries and 24 languages, including three for Relate and The Samaritans; my most high-profile book was the rewriting of The Joy of Sex. I write regularly for magazines and websites and was shortlisted for the Family Planning Association's Award for journalistic excellence. I facilitate workshops and make presentations on relationship issues to the public, to professional groups and to commercial organisations. I regularly comment on relationship issues for the print and broadcast media as well as to PR and advertising companies; in 2005-6, my work won PR Week Awards for Campaign of the Year and Ethical Health Care. I was nominated for the Our Bodies Ourselves Health Hero Award, and since 2010 have also been one of the Family Planning Association's 21st Century Achievers. Read a more extended, formal CV.
