I often comment for the national and international media - writing features or giving interviews about my psychological insights on key news items or social developments.

I am part of the Kids in the Middle coalition, supporting children in conflicted families and advising the Government on how best to help.

I write particularly regularly for MORE magazine, Scarlet magazine, the Daily Mail and the Daily Express.

I also comment on behalf of Relate and several other charities dealing with relationship or sexual problems; I was recently a consultant for the Support Marriage! campaign run by SHE magazine, UK.

In 2005 my work was shortlisted for the Family Planning Association's Rosemary Goodchild Award for excellence in journalism. In 2006, I was a judge for this Award. In 2009, I was delighted to be nominated for the Our Bodies Ourselves Women's Health Hero Award for my campaign work.
